Report: Nation Has Thrown Away All Of Its Potential

By Scott McRobotface
WASHINGTON—According to a recent report published in the report, the country has thrown away all of its potential. “We’ve lost jobs, lives, and even our homes to the outsourcing of manufacturing jobs, because we couldn’t figure out how to bring manufacturing back to the United States,” said the report’s author, Thomas L. Friedman, adding that, while America was able to do a lot of things, things like education and infrastructure were just too outsourced. “And that’s just not fair. Now, we’re not even sure how to bring manufacturing back, so it’s all just outsourcing.” After noting that the country was in no position to reclaim its lost skills, Friedman called for a renewed effort to make sure that Americans can’t just throw away their knowledge.
