COLUMBUS, OH—After asking her to step down from her duties as a principal in a local business, Grandma, 84, reportedly asked her grandson to step down Wednesday from the position as a vice president of sales. “Today, I request that you step down from your office,” said Grandma, accompanying her grandson to the family’s detached home in the rural Ohio town of Hickory Bluff, which was her only remaining employment. “I am deeply saddened, however, and I am relieved that you will no longer have to endure this kind of suffering. I am also very sorry that you are no longer a part of my life.” At press time, Grandma reportedly told her grandson that she would probably be able to find a way to keep her job in her old age.
