Mum Gently Reminds Kids They Can’t Talk To Person Who Just Started Taking Care Of Them

LANHAM, WA—Insisting that it’s important to be kind to all involved, local mother Linda Castillo gently reminded her children Monday that they can’t talk to a person who just started taking care of them. “You know, they’re not even sure you’re ready for anything yet,” said Castillo, reminding the children that they would need a few months of daily grooming and occasional visits to the doctor before they could even begin to feel comfortable talking to an adult who had already determined that they’re okay. “We’ll try to get through it, but since you’re going through such a rough patch right now, you’ll probably be too embarrassed to even give it a try. I know it’s really, really hard to say ‘no,’ but we’ll try our hardest.” Castillo also noted that, unless she and her children did the whole grooming thing herself, they’ll probably need to wait until they’re over the age of embarrassment before they even try talking to a parent who has already decided that they’re fine.
