Man Who Didn’t Know Anything About Economics Being Inspired By Less Impressive Person Who Does

BRISTOL, CT—Stressing that he feels like he’s been drawn to the person’s wealth of knowledge, sources confirmed Friday that local man Brian Sutton, who did not know what an economist was, was inspired by a person who did know a lot about the subject. “Sure, I’m used to being swept up in a job market that is both tough and uncertain, but that person was really laying out his case in plain English,” said Sutton, noting that the person who didn’t even have an undergraduate degree was able to provide a lengthy explanation of the intricacies of macroeconomics in a way that was accessible to anyone, and that he felt like the plain-spoken, uneducated individual was providing a valuable service to society. “I really think it came as a real surprise to me that I wasn’t all too familiar with all of these fancy concepts and talking points, but I guess I just kind of got sick of hearing about them. I mean, I’m sure he knew a lot of stuff I didn’t know, but who cares? He was just out there doing research.” Sutton added that his meeting with the person who knew a lot more than he did was a real inspiration to him for being able to learn about the economic world from someone who was actually able to give it to him.
