Kids From ‘The Golden Girls’ Confident They Will Get Other Kids To Do It For Them

NEW YORK—Acting on the festive spirit that has long been their signature, a group of three 12-year-olds from “The Golden Girls” told reporters Thursday that they are confident that other children from the popular children’s television show will eventually get them to do it for them. “We’re just hoping that a couple of kids from ‘The Golden Girls’ will go and do the work for us,’” said Jack Krause, 11, adding that he and his friends have always been known to do the work for other children, and that he and his friends are certainly not the only ones who have the ability to do it for their own kids. “It probably comes from the show’s name: The Golden Girls. And if they’re not that good at it, we’ll just have to keep working until they’re good.” At press time, the girls’ group had openly joked about how they were just going to tell their friends that they’re the real “Papa” and then they’ll be done.
