WESTERLY, CO—Admitting that she had been hoping that her mother would be more accepting of her and the fact that she was the one who had been missing her, local mother Karen Loomis said Friday that she is happy to see that her mother is not a booey Debbie. “I thought that if Mom knew me a little more she would be a little more accepting of me, but she still doesn’t seem to be,” said Loomis, who acknowledged that she was initially concerned when she discovered that her mother had been there at the hospital for her mother’s surgery for a torn rotator cuff. “Turns out I was wrong. She just doesn’t seem like she’s all that happy to see me around. I thought she would try to talk to me about how happy I am to be here for her.” At press time, Loomis confirmed that she was not sure whether she was prepared to hear her mother admit her mistake before making a full apology.
