WASHINGTON—Expressing hope that the upcoming ceremony will receive the attention it craves, the American populace held a ceremony Thursday in which they hoped that President Donald Trump’s death would be a message to other countries. “We are hopeful that the American people will recognize that this was a tragic accident, and will finally be able to see that the world is safer now than it was before,” said Marilyn, adding that she hoped that “people who live in countries with a history of mass killings like Islamic State will finally be able to see that the world is a safer place now than it was before,” and that she hoped they would stop trying to figure out who exactly is responsible for all of the tragedies that occurred. “It’s just a sad accident, and it’s all part of life. This is a very difficult time for everyone involved, but I think the American people will be able to come together and have a much easier time in the future.” At press time, the nation was hoping that the people of other countries would finally get the message that the world is a safer place now than it was before.
