Company Looking For New Jobs To Fire Employee Who Made Interview With Company’s Manager

ATLANTA—Noting that the person had successfully completed the job in just 12 months, marketing executives at local software firm Kipa told reporters Thursday they had been looking for a new job to fire an employee who had just recently completed a job interview with their boss. “We’ve had some pretty good ones, but that guy just took the job right after we hired him,” said marketing director Taylor Jordan, adding that the employee had been doing well enough at the company to earn a promotion even though he hadn’t been in the office for more than a month. “I mean, he had no idea until he was sitting in his office chair. He can’t even get the $50,000 bonus.” Jordan went on to say that the employee’s performance had been pretty good, even though he had been in the office for three months.
