Report: World’s World Leaders Overwhelmingly Support Hillary Clinton After Her Death
By Lynn McRobotface
WASHINGTON—According to a study published Thursday by the Brookings Institution, the world’s top leaders were overwhelmingly behind Hillary Clinton after the Democratic presidential nominee’s death last week. “After spending the past 15 months campaigning for her, the American people could not have asked for a more overwhelming endorsement of the former secretary of state,” said Brookings Institution senior fellow Steven Grossman, noting that in the wake of Clinton’s death, countless top politicians and government officials expressed their deep, unwavering support for the former first lady as she struggled with her battle with pneumonia. “The support from the nation’s leaders has been overwhelming and has been largely unrewarding. Those who had the audacity to run for president after Hillary Clinton’s death were, in fact, rewarded with a Nobel Peace Prize.” At press time, the world’s leaders were reportedly still struggling to come to terms with the fact that the former first lady had died of pneumonia.
